Brazilian National Squad Starting Fresh...

After another disappointing World Cup, the Brazilian National Squad couldn't do anything but start fresh. Ricardo Teixeira (CBF President) had to fire Dunga, and begin a search for his replacement: the man chosen was Mano Menezes; A very experienced Brazilian Coach, that had to leave his current club Corinthians (where the "retired" stars Ronaldo and Roberto Carlos play.) to begin this new challenge. His contract with the Brazilian National Squad goes until the 2012 London Olympics, but many speculate that this contract will be extended until the 2014 World Cup after he announced the list of players that will be participating in the friendly against USA. Of all the 24 players in the list only 4 of the players participated in this previous World Cup 2010, I guess what Ricardo Teixeira wanted was "renovation" and Mano Menezes certainly did fulfill those expectations. There were no space for glories like Kaká, Luis Fabiano, Juan, Maicon, Lucio and the magestic Julio César. Yes, shocking but after viewing the list of 24 players carefully, I feel that starting fresh is for the best and I hope that these debuts play a clean and wonderful match against USA. (August 10th, New Jersey)
And here goes the list...(Mano Menezes said that this list will certainly change as the friendlies go by)
