New AC Milan Jersey...

Today the AC Milan Squad officially presented their new home 2010/2011 Jersey. You might think that all of their jerseys are always the same, however there are always a slight change in them. The big change we can all notice in this new jersey is the new sponsor; its not the betting site Bwin anymore, its now the famous airline Fly Emirates. The black and red stripes are thicker, but as we can see adidas can't change much on the AC Milan jersey or else it would break the old rossoneri tradition.

From Spain to Germany...

It is confirmed! The legendary Spanish striker Raúl is now part of the Schalke 04 squad, he signed a contract of two seasons with the german club. His presentation wasn't as glorious as C. Ronaldo's when he transferred to Real Madrid, it was more of a private presentation; where he was welcomed by a chain of children, the top hierarchy of Schalke 04 and two miners that presented him with coal. Many asked him what would happen if he had to play against Real Madrid, his answer was simple "It would be a special moment for me"

Washington back to Fluminese...

Washington comes back to Fluminense, after a weak season in Sao Paulo FC. The reason for this move was mainly because of his continuous injuries, consequently leading to a loss of space in the squad. With new signings like Fernandao and Ricardo Oliveira, Washington knew that he wasn't going to be part of the coach's plans anymore. The Brazilian striker is now back to shine like he shone in 2008 with the Fluminense jersey. We wish him the best of luck!

Bye Bye Maradona...

Even though many fans protested against this decision, AFA (Argentinean Soccer Association) had to fire the flamboyant Maradona. The Argentinian coach showed a reasonable work with the squad in the World Cup 2010 Group Stages but after the 4 x 0 against Germany in the Quarter-finals, everything collapsed. The substitute for Maradona is still unclear, but whoever substitutes him, will never be able to create a family in the Argentinean squad like he did.

Sol Campbell never stops...

The 35 year old defender never stops, last season everyone was surprised by his form when he joined Arsenal FC. Now he rises again with Newcastle United, recently promoted to the FA Premier League. The price of the transfer was not revealed, but Campbell quoted "At this point of my career I couldn't wish for any better move than this one". Well, we wish Campbell the best.

Liverpool's Trio Signing...

Yesterday the trio Milan Jovanovic, Danny Wilson and Joe Cole were unveiled to the media at Anfield. Roy Hogdson is very optimistic with these three signings, however he reveals that the club will still be interested in more signings later on in the transfer window. The question is, will Joe Cole be successful in the red jersey? The 33 year old English player lost his spot in Chelsea F.C. after various consecutive injuries consequently leading to unfitness.

Filipe Luis in Madrid...Atlético de Madrid

Filipe Luis Kasmirski, the 24 year old wingback transfers to Madrid..Atlético de Madrid for 12 million euros from Deportivo La Coruna. Even after his severe injury, major clubs were still looking to sign the Brazilian wingback. Filipe Luis played a couple of times for the Brazilian National Squad, but wasn't fit enough to show it's potential and be called up for the World Cup 2010. Now he has to chance to get into shape and play with great stars like Forlán , Aguero and Simao.

Farewell Raúl..oh and yeah Guti

Playing for Real Madrid since 1994, the 33 year old Spanish player decided to leave the Madrid club after hearing that he wasn't going to be part of plans of the new coach José Mourinho. With 6 La Liga Championships , 3 Champions League and a record of 323 goals and 740 appearances, the player's farewell was very emotional to all. His next destination is still very unclear, but many speculate that the striker will be moving to Schalke 04. On the other hand, the Spanish player Guti also bids his farewell to the "Madrileno" Club, after not being able to fit in the "galacticos" squad. His next destination is confirmed to be the turkish club Besiktas FC. We wish them the best of luck!

CR9 wants to be CR7 again...

Cristiano Ronaldo is still enjoying his summer vacation and is trying to make the most of it before going back to Madrid. After hearing from the sad departure of his teammate Raúl, instead of wishing luck for his fellow friend, he immediately contacted Real Madrid and said that he really wished to have the number 7 shirt(wore by Raúl), so that he could be CR7 again. The reason for this change is not only personal, but only financial; in Manchester United he wore the number 7 and from there all his marketing products are recognized as CR7. With the 7 again he wishes to shine as he shone in Man Utd...we will see.

The Fantastic Four...

After hearing the great news, the youngsters Paulo Henrique Ganso, Neymar and André couldn't help to say that they were also very pleased that their great friend Robinho was also called up by Mano Menezes. The four of them played a fantastic 2009/2010 Campeanato Paulista (The Sao Paulo Brazilian State Championship) together in their current club Santos, consequently winning the championship. The four of them, created a unstoppable attack with the experience of Robinho, the talent of Neymar, the playmaking of PH Ganso and the finishing of André. The question is, will the "Fantastic Four" be "Fantastic" in the national Brazilian Squad?

Brazilian National Squad Starting Fresh...

After another disappointing World Cup, the Brazilian National Squad couldn't do anything but start fresh. Ricardo Teixeira (CBF President) had to fire Dunga, and begin a search for his replacement: the man chosen was Mano Menezes; A very experienced Brazilian Coach, that had to leave his current club Corinthians (where the "retired" stars Ronaldo and Roberto Carlos play.) to begin this new challenge. His contract with the Brazilian National Squad goes until the 2012 London Olympics, but many speculate that this contract will be extended until the 2014 World Cup after he announced the list of players that will be participating in the friendly against USA. Of all the 24 players in the list only 4 of the players participated in this previous World Cup 2010, I guess what Ricardo Teixeira wanted was "renovation" and Mano Menezes certainly did fulfill those expectations. There were no space for glories like Kaká, Luis Fabiano, Juan, Maicon, Lucio and the magestic Julio César. Yes, shocking but after viewing the list of 24 players carefully, I feel that starting fresh is for the best and I hope that these debuts play a clean and wonderful match against USA. (August 10th, New Jersey)
And here goes the list...(Mano Menezes said that this list will certainly change as the friendlies go by)

Victor (Gremio), Jeferson (Botafogo), Renan (Avaí)
