Washington comes back to Fluminense, after a weak season in Sao Paulo FC. The reason for this move was mainly because of his continuous injuries, consequently leading to a loss of space in the squad. With new signings like Fernandao and Ricardo Oliveira, Washington knew that he wasn't going to be part of the coach's plans anymore.
